September 2025 FOU Blog Hop-Anything But a Card
Hello my crafty friends.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen you last. Can you believe this year is already on its way out?!? Man…time is sure flying by these days.
First I want to thank you all for hopping along with us this month…and any other month for that matter. You truly are appreciated and loved by us all.
This month’s theme is “Anything But a Card” which from the title can encompass EVERYTHING so let your imaginations take you on a trip to your craft room where you can create whatever your heart desires.
My creation started out as an idea for a card…then it sat on my desk unfinished for quite a while. I was struggling with the end application (attaching it to a card base) lol. I know right?!? The easiest part of it all…but something in my crafty brain just didn’t like how it looked. Has that happened to you? Like throwing things aside until the one special, unrealized component comes to the crafty world and your brain says “YES…that is what I needed to finish that card” 😬 ( in a room full of craft supplies that have only been touched once…yikes….it really is an addiction ♥️)
Anyways, I digress.
This beautiful lady comes from the “Rooted in You” stamp set from Unity Stamp Co. The scalloped edge tag is also from Unity. I paper pieced her shirt out of the Unity designer paper pack called “Hay.There”
Isn’t she just the epitome of all things Fall? I could almost smell the essence of Pumpkin spice when I look at her.
